Dear Mr. Weithöner,
I've installed your very nice piece of software and would like to purchase a license. Unfortunately, I live in the United States, and I know from bitter experience that US banks are _very_ unreliable with wire transfers to Europe of the sort that you prefer.
If you send me your postal address, I'd be happy to send you cash or a cashier's check, according to your preference. However, if it were possible to pay you via PayPal that would be much preferable, so much so that I'd be very happy to pay another 5 Euros for the privilege. (I would likely have to pay that much in postage and banking fees in order to obtain a cashier's check or paper Euros and send them to you.)
I have been using PayPal to exchange money with relatives in Scandinavia for several years, since wire transfers started giving us trouble. My sense is that U.S. banks have been retreating from the business of conducting international wire transfers for individuals. You could well find that if you set up a PayPal payment method you get many more registrations from North America.
If you find it burdensome to reply in English, don't hesitate to respond in German. If you keep it simple, I'll probably be able to figure it out.
With kind regards,
Ben |
